Poem: Ellen Welcker

Blackstar

past tense means it happened and now it will never stop

and are you become superfund

and are you become superpower

and osmotically

and is flowers that smell like whaaaaat

and a bewilderness overtakes me

o it feels like leafiness whapping me windily

o it feels like papercuts

o it is the rain coming down harder now

and is my container permeable is it now

and is euphorbia blooming is it now

and is the world preferring me bewildered now

it is now

I’ve said it before

I grow not-knowing

I grow deep deep bewild

and I don’t have no sense

and I am incense

and I am subsense

and I am over sense

so over it

and my sense is blackstar

n+1

o I   I can’t stay

o I wish I could stay
