Recital reproduces a collection of private moments that have been brought together by a search for Erik Satie’s “Gymnopédie No.1” on YouTube. The result is a seductive series of personal material: child ballerinas, amateur pole dancers, repetitive motion, and pieces of blonde hair, caught in a space between immediate documentation and one’s fleeting memory.
