Alpine Bivaloum-Jockey
This costume, designed after Haugrellet’s “Bivaloum Racing Along the Glaubenberg Pass,” is of azure satin with golden bands, buttons, tassel and mask trimming. Dark leather for the girdle and boots, with reverse bee-striped woollen stockings. Use of an authentic bivaloum-prod as well as a leg spring is generally considered safe, although fully grown bivaloums should of course not roam freely around children. Special care must be taken to tuck the breeches neatly just above the knee, especially in presentations meant for teaching proper hygiene.
