Not that Tahoma, land of Milky-White Waters,
matters—
one’s scythe belongs to oneself.
It comes slashing whether you desire it or not
Pointed—
Blue skies, oar gray, tinge of white or purple
or, like diseased liquid—
Thinking of what’s found
least of the desired
scared,
rapping on the upturned
upturned edges
rapping of the head
Murder comes before volcanoes
mimic of sirens
mimicking memories
ticking slick
tickling the edges of periphery—
Remove life of living
burden
curse
cure
collapse
shade of omniscience
terror in the streets
in the car
on the beach
in the plane
to just remove
of course as method—
To lighten
what matters
it is sheering
the sheer sense
of terror
is this duplicity?
where goes the range of the cruel
doppelganger
could it be
an enlargement
a breath
anger
hanging
behind
throat
and then the drain coos
cooling like serendipity
fading like a secret
a muting—
Single purpose
to terror
again
berry-patched
