This is a poem I wrote after
I woke up after
I dreamt I was writing
and I told you to wait.
-because you were getting ready-
-because we were supposed to go out-
as I wrote this sentence¹
which was to end the paragraph
that I don’t remember the rest of
because it never existed.
¹…like if a sentence was a forest, like if words blocked light
