Allison Grimaldi-Donahue

Allison Grimadli-Donahue is a writer and translator based in Bologna, Italy.  Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The American Reader, The New Inquiry, The Diner Journal, The Newer York and right here in Queen Mob’s Teahouse.  She was also a contributor to the most recent edition of The Oxford Companion to Cheese.  In 2013 she was awarded an NEA literary translation fellowship.  Allison is a graduate of the University of Toronto Centre for Comparative Literature where she wrote on medieval queer studies and she is currently pursing her MFA in Fiction at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.  When she isn’t writing she plays the accordion.

About Submissions

As for submissions I would say we tend towards shorter pieces when it comes to fiction and we like to challenge our readers views of what a story is and can be.  Stories should be in word documents and should have the authors bio in there as well along with social media/website links.
