I just realized the connection between these two films, between the two men. Masculinity still in affective, sexual, and technological crisis in need of thawing and repair. Both women use all their strength, energy, and love to walk up (back) to these men. To touch them. To show them love and compassion. To forgive them. What do the men do? What do the men ever do?
