Edward Kulemin was born in 1960 in Yaroslavl, Russia. He is the author of five books of poetry, most recently Lowdown (2012), and has been included in numerous international anthologies, including The Last Vispo Anthology: Visual Poetry, 1998–2008 (2012), An Anthology of Asemic Handwriting (2013) and The Encrypted Poemics Anthology (2014). He lives in Smolensk, Russia.
